Studio Kai linke is an international design studio founded 2009 by Kai Linke. The portfolio extends project for international companys and institutions. The projects are part of numerous international publications, exhibitions and permanent collections as the Norway National Museum in Oslo; the Galila‘s P.O.C. in Brussels and Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt and have received several awards.
Kai Linke studied product design at the HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design. He was granted a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation, the Akademie Schloss Solitude / Stuttgart, the Goethe-Institut Villa Kamogawa Kyoto / Japan and the Goethe-Institut Osaka. 2019 he published the book „Kai Linke in Japan“. In 2021, he designed and conceptualised the German pavilion „Spoon Archaeology“ at the London Design Biennale.
Since 2022 he has been a lecturer in the Product Design department at the Brüder Grimm Berufsakademie in Hanau. Previously, he was a lecturer at the Kunsthochschule Kassel and the HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design.
