Frankfurt designer Kai Linke has reinterpreted the Hessen lion for the Hessian Film and Cinema Prize. Hessen is unthinkable without its lion. It has been decorating its coat of arms since the 12th century. The new statue unites a modern interpretation of the heraldic animal with its cubistic design, the creative future and history of Hessen. This award has been presented annually in several categories since 2020 and is one of the most important in the german film and cinema world.
