The Blasted Vase embodies both history and life, documenting the life of a tree. The tree's annual rings, hidden beneath the vase, indicate it was at least 21 years old, nurtured in the Hessian Spessart forest. Each layer on the vase's surface represents a year, and each knot marks a branch that once grew there. Initially, the tree was felled and divided into rough sections. The trunk was then shaped and treated with a special surface technology before being molded and immortalized in porcelain along the German porcelain route in Bavaria. Price on Request
